Olivia was Player of the Game (for the first time!) in a losing cause in the Consolation Final today.  The girls had so much fun!

Busy weekend!  Olivia at provincials, Sophia out for a birthday lunch/shopping trip with Auntie Andrea, and Emma at the Brandon Jazz Festival with the choir.

Olivia's team started out with a 3-1 victory in the Atom B female provincials in Elkhorn today.  They also won the banner competition.  It was a great day!

What a thrilling game!  Olivia's team was down 3-0 in the 3rd.  Olivia started the comeback with the first 2 goals, and they ended up tying the game to force over time.  After 5 minutes of 5 on 5, 5 mins of 4 on 4, they went to 3 on 3 before we complete the comeback to take game 1 of the series!

We had to win this game in order to make it to the semi-finals.  Heartbreakingly, we lost with under a minute left in the game.  This was partly on the parents - we agreed to take on too many extra players and it messed with the chemistry they had from playing together all year.

Not a good start to PeeWee A/B female provincials - tied and lost today, both to teams we should've beat.  Girls worked on their banner for opening ceremonies - on the back it said "we'd rather have a skills competition"

After getting shafted out of the chance to win the C1 Championship banner, the girls accepted some help from a few AP's when they were thrown into the B2 playoffs.  Today they beat Grunthal to move on to the final round.

Thankfully Sophia's ankle was healed enough to go on the ski trip that had, luckily for her, been postponed due to weather.  They had a fantastic time and the weather was ideal.

Emma won one of her voice classes while we were away.  Glad I got back in time to play for her one ore time today, and for her Vocal Awards performance night this coming Thursday.
